The Family

It is a rarity that we are all together.
It is even rarer that I can get them all to together for a photo.... and have them looking at the camera and smiling.
Enjoying our Florida family vacation - super hot! 30 daily. LOTS of sunscreen around here!
Hoping the snow is gone when we get back in a few days. :)

Norah seems to be having the best time of everyone. I don't think I have heard her cry or complain once! Loves the pool, loves the playground, loves the water park, loves running in the huge house, loves cuddling with all her uncles - especially Mark.

It is lovely and warm here and the kids (big and little) are having a blast. Norah doesn't stop giggling!

The Help

I think this should be a nightly occurrence.

Took these photo two weeks ago when Mark was here.

Unfortunately they don't do:
floors
microwave innerds
the back of counters
counters covered in stuff
sinks and taps
outside of fridges with grand girls prints
stove tops
back splashes

Not complaining!!
...just saying......

French Doors

My french doors are taking a beating.
They get opened and closed non stop and they have little tiny finger prints ALL over them. I no longer keep them clean I just keep them open.

I mean, why would I bother to actually clean each little pane when the girls are here so often?

I just hope no glass gets broken.

SIGH!!

But golly the girls sure do have a blast with them.
...and with Uncle Mark!

Winnipeg Jets Hat Fun

Eva was wearing her Winnipeg Jets Shirt last weekend - a gift from Uncle Mark. Now Uncle Mark wanted a photo with his Jets cap on too.

But Eva decided she was not going to oblige. And she was going to have fun resisting.

Here she is, the Jets fan maestro at the piano warming up.... and avoiding Uncle Mark with hat in hand.

Such style!!

Then we strike again while she is 'reading' some music.

Saskatoon Body Builders

Celeste completed last weekend and will compete again this weekend in the IFBB Saskatchewan Championship.

So for fun, Celeste and her husband Fred (who is a body builder too) dropped by the studio for some photos. I photographed Celeste and Fred last summer at their wedding.

Here is just a few of the days work. :)

Wow! Sure enjoyed photographing these beautiful, sculpted bodies. I lost count of the number of lights we used. :)

You will notice that Gym Day features heavily on Norah. That's because Eva spends the whole hour in "her" car avoiding my camera. She has a bit of a "Leave me alone I am playing with the big kids" kind of look on her face. While Norah is in the "look at me, Grandma! " phase. Which Grandma loves of course. :)

We only feed our grandchildren ice cream.

They just seem happier that way.

Meet Jack!!

Love his name!
We almost had a Jack but he turned out to be an Allison and we were thrilled beyond measure at that!! :)
jack has incredible eyes! Such a deep blue with the most wonderful sparkle.
