Saskatoon Graduate

Brett is heading off to play ball at University. I photographed his older brother graduating two years ago and his grandparents wedding anniversary last summer. Truly blessed to be able to be part of these milestones in this family's life.

Congratulations Brett!

Saskatoon Graduate

I am well into grad season and so enjoying meeting, getting to know and photographing all these wonderful young people.

This is David - a very polite young man. It was such a pleasure to spend some time with him the other evening. And let me tell ya - this fellow knows how to wear a suit! Destined for big things.

Rainy Afternoon at Grandma's house

It seems every afternoon is a rainy afternoon these days. But we made the best of it by watching a movie and eating cookies.

I sure wish this rain would stop. Besides getting a tad depressing, it is really stretching my creativity! Finding unique indoor places to photograph graduates is working, but man all these last minute venue changes - sheesh!!

Don's Photo has a Canvas Sale

50% off

And I am going a little crazy!
Some BIG canvases
Some are cropped long and thin.
Most of the B&W will go on the newly painted (Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter) basement walls.
Can't wait. :)

... you have no idea how difficult it is to get these two into the same photo!!
The little one will NOT sit still.

These two on the other hand pose for me. :) Wish they lived closer.

Absolutely ecstatic about seeing this on canvas.
If it turns out as well as I think it will it may be a large metallic canvas soon!
Then I will take the canvas and find an old wood frame for it.

Oh (BIG Sigh) I love this photo!

If you are one of my photography customers and would like me to go into the archives and retrieve, perfect and send off one of your photos for printing on canvas, let me know soon.
Sale ends June 22nd

We had her to ourselves!

Because Mommy and her sister were visiting some princesses.

So we went to the park and wore everyone out.

Grand Girls Visit.

The girls were over for a visit last evening. We had supper together, played in the back yard where we collected rocks, ate the first rhubarb, hid in the trees and were brave enough to hold a ladybug. Norah wins the bravery award on that one.
Then we headed to the park and play structure - just to keep G&G on their toes!
It was home for a bath and hair wash and those 20 minutes of getting tangles out of that thick beautiful hair and then french braids. PJ's on and time for cheerios and fruit. They worked up an appetite at the park because the littlest one had three bowls of cheerios. Our last activity was playing in the "kitchen" down grandma's basement where we put together hamburgers, sandwiches and pizza.

I think we will sleep well tonight.  :)
