Had a wonderful afternoon with a very beautiful graduate and her family.
This is Kara. She plans to head to university and get her biology degree. Her interests lie in genetics. I am sure she will do well.
I met Mary at the scrapbook store several years ago. She is an avid scrapbooker and I think the only thing she loves more then scrapbooking is her family. Put the two together and it is a very enjoyable labour of love. Mary's family were all in Saskatoon last Saturday so it was a great opportunity to gather them together and create some memories for the next scrapbook. I think one of the real pleasures of being a photographer is meeting people and spending time getting to know them and yes even wrapping my arms around them when they give me permission. ;)
Families are all about love and I want love to just burst through in their photos.
So here are a few photos of Mary's family.
Grand daughter Samantha stole the show!
For family and friends, photos are up on the web site. Click Here
Eva had a blast playing in our muddy front yard in the sprinkler. I just let her go at it because the plan was for her to have a bath before Mom and Dad came to get her and Norah....and her bag of wet dirty clothes. :) ( I love being a grandma)
But I am rally having trouble picking my favourite. Help me out would ya?
Which one should be the 365 of the day?

Another fire in our neighbourhood. Photos from the last one here.
I missed photos of the flames but I did get photos of Saskatoon's finest at work. It was a hot day today and dangerously hot for these firefighters in their gear in a building so hot it burned the side of the neighbouring house and melted the netting on the trampoline in the back yard.
These guys look exhausted when they came out of that house, peeled off layers of heavy fire gear and doused themselves in cool water.
