Finally finished up this page this weekend after three weeks of having no time to get to it! It is a busy and "messy" page but that's okay because making a gingerbread with 16 bags of candies, sticky icing, slabs of gingerbread and four kids is a busy and messy proposition. Nevertheless it is a fun yearly tradition at our house and since 1997 when Allison and I studied Anne of Green Gables all year, the gingerbread house has been a replica of Anne's house. Christmas is such a sweet time of year.

I like the little gingerbread embelishments, and the time to bake paper. MMMMM! Gingerbread house, and candy, and icing....MMMMM!
