Alas no. Lightroom allows for incredible management of workflow and basic edits, but you need the "layers" capability of Photoshop to do this. The good news is that Photoshop Elements is relatively inexpensive and you can do a whole lot of fun stuff with your photos in Elements. Start with Elements 6 and take some tutorials on line - next big learning curve. :)
