Aaron and Alicia
Oh sweet young love. Sigh.
I really feel so special that I get to capture all this love. Their strong connection to one another was so palpable; a real inseparable bond that said "you are mine forever".
They have been together for nine years and just recently lost their sweet baby girl Lylah.
Grief cements that bond.
I love how Aaron looks adoringly at Alicia. :)
They are going to tie the knot in May ~ in Vegas ~ now that is cool!
Congratulations Aaron and Alicia!

Arizona Slideshow
here ya go - my favorite photos from our week in Arizona.
We will definitely be going back!
An update... yes I noticed that I spelled Different wrong in the slideshow - so it is now corrected and I took the liberty of also adding a few more photos. It is still the same length - because I also took the liberty of removing a few photos. :)
BTW pointe is spelled with the e on the end. "Different Pointe of view" at the Pointe Hilton in Phoenix.
FABULOUS place to have a quiet romantic dinner - ask to eat out on the patio. Incredible views.

Sedona Ariona
This photo is actually 8 verticle photos taken and stitched together in Photoshop.
I just wanted to capture the incredible panoramic views of Sedona.
The final Photoshop image was just under 200 mb.
But this uploaded jpeg is only 2.8 mb
I am thinking it might look fine on a canvas somewhere.
Try clicking on it to see it much larger.

Too Funny
I am sitting in the Calgary airport taking advantage of 2 hours of free internet. That and supper are slowly eating up the FIVE hr wait for our connection home.
Catching up on all my 500 unread google reader posts and found this one.

With Jesus Christ
With the Lord Jesus Christ nothing is impossible. No stormy passions are so strong; He can tame them. No temper is so rough and violent; He can change it. No conscience is so disturbed; He can speak peace to it and make it calm. No person ever need despair, if they will only bow down their pride, and come as a humbled sinner to Christ. Christ can do miracles upon their heart. No person ever need despair of reaching their journey’s end, if they have once committed their soul to Christ’s keeping. Christ will carry them through every danger. Christ will make them conqueror over every foe. What if our relatives oppose us? What if our neighbors laugh us to scorn? What if our place be hard? What if our temptations be great? It is all nothing, if Christ is on our side, and we are in the ship with Him. Greater is He that is for us, than all those who are against us.

Hiking them thar hills

Wild West
Photos from our afternoon at the old authentic mining town of Gold Field.
It was a peek into the past of the wild wild (and may I add dusty) west.
I am happy and thankful to be living in an era of flushing toilets, electricity and gas run vehicles. It was sure nice after our time here to get into an air conditioned car, chug down a bottle of fresh cool water and drive to our friends home for a scrumptious meal and visit. I have a new respect for the women of the wild west era.

These are the munchkins, Claire, Luke and Jack that showed us around Gold Field.
and their parents Laurie and Jason
And that snake? Yup a rattler..... but he was behind glass. :)
Today I plan a bit of a hike up in to them thar hills while sweetheart meets (ahem... golfs) with the other execs - team building you know. Tomorrow they get to sit in conference rooms for 10 hours.
My love has asked me to please not step on any rattlers today while I go looking for photo ops. I will do my best.
On another note, my google reader has 517 unread posts..... sigh I will get to them. Two photoshoots requiring editing await my return as does the SHR who wants 40 hrs of me a week. Ahhhhh
I am donning my runners, grabbing the 5D and two lenses and heading into the hills of Arizona (well Poenix).

Arizona
My first visit to this this beautiful State. Highs of 89F today. :)
On Saturday we visited Sedona....some of my photos from the day.
We arrived back in Phoenix in time to get dressed up and have a late dinner at "Different Pointe of View" Restaurant atop the Tapatio Cliffs overlooking the lights of Phoenix.
ROMANTIC!
This was the view from our table for two hours.
Food was out of this world! I have photos of it - a work of art!
