Personally I like to listen to lyrics I can understand and actually sing along to.
I also prefer a melody that resolves and doesn't leave my heart racing or my head spinning.
But then again I am one of those middle aged women.
So it doesn't really matter what I think.

If it's any consolation, I agree with those musical precepts, and I'm still not 26 :)
LOL It is supposed to be "cool" music, but I suppose once you have been exposed to classical music, or even other music written by people who have studied and perfected their instruments and voices.... well it is difficult, for me anyways, to call rap music. But is sells and the 'music' industry is making money on it. But then again Hollywood makes a bundle of money too.
Hey it has a constant beat to it anyways.......
