MAC Crash

Taking a break from blogging while my NEW 27 inch iMac is in the shop!!!
Major crash. I should blog about putting everything on your external hard drive - which I do.
Which you should do!!
Because even Mac's can fail.

All photos are safe! About 12 hrs of wedding edits may not be, but the originals are.

Taking a break from photo editing too!!

Which means I have time to do some house work!

Learning I can live without my computer....

wait... why am I on the laptop then?

Today's Bible Verse: Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
1 Peter 3:3-4 (NIV) -- so reminded me of a conversation I had with my Minister years ago about how peeps get all dulled-up just to go to church; coiffed hair; polished nails; slick lipstick; smart clothes; smanchie shoes and the guys no less in their Sunday best too. My discussion was how does this become what seems to be a "standard" to attend church. I was advocating that God wouldn't see me any less if I was wearing blue jeans to church. He quite agreed and even admitted that he wore blue-jeans under his robes, as well as his well-worn cowboy boots! It was an interesting conversation! Hope you are having a fabulous day today Julie; and hope that Mac reappears in a timely manner. It's hard to work without the tools you want to work with. /t

Thank you Thelma. Indeed God looks at the heart. We see this over and over in scripture. The things which are seen are temporary but the things which are not seen are eternal - 2 Cor.
I am learning that my Mac is a worldly thing... but then I need it work. Sounds like the NEW Mac needs a new hard drive - could be next week before I get it back. I have the old mac up and running for email and internet. ... I wonder if I have any old photos still on this mac.......
