Butchart Gardens

I am overflowing with photos for the 365 so I will show them to you here. I spent a wonderful few hrs at the Butchart Gardens today. It was way too short. You need three hrs to really see all the beauty and our bus driver demanded we be back in 1.5 hrs.... Never do stuff like this on a tour - drive out yourself and take it all in according to your schedule. If I have time I might just go back with a few more lenses and my Sherpa to carry them....

Love the photos, especially the poppies at the end. They are my most favourite flower to photograph. Julie, what kind of camera / lense are you using?

I am using a Canon 5D Mark II and for most of these shots I am using mu 70-200 zoom. I have set the F stop at 5.6 which on an overcast day outside gives me a really sharp photo with this lens.

OH so GORGEOUS! Those first 2 flower photos remind me of Alice in Wonderland!
