Yorkton Engagement Slideshow

We were about 30 km south of Melville at the Horseshoe Saloon! Love it!!
Celeste and Fred are getting married in August (heehaw) and it is promising to be one fun shin dig on the ranch. Horses, hay bales, quilts, fantastic food, tea lights in mason jars... I can't wait!!

Vacation of a Lifetime

After years of saving and planning I was finally able to get my whole gang together for 8 wonderful days in Hawaii. A family vacation of a lifetime since it is so difficult to gather them all in one place. It was wonderful! I took many photos of this memory of us all together. Now that Norah is here and another grandchild will be here in July, I am starting to save for and think about our next opportunity to be together to play games together, eat together, play in the ocean together and just BE together without worldly distractions.

The Horseshoe Saloon

Yup! That was where we spent the afternoon hangin' out with locals and with Fred and Celeste. The Horseshoe Saloon - somewhere south of Melville.... down a grid road. I am the first to admit that I am a city girl thru and thru but, oh there is something alluring about cowboys and saloons and horses and the whole wild west stuff..... man all that leather!

Here we were taking engagement shots while the local cowboys (of retirement age) were hangin 'n drinkin' n braggin' n just not going home to their wives.....

Tonight Fred and Celeste will be at the Horseshoe Saloon with their friends for a shin dig and then in August, well, there will be one big party on the ranch and I git to photograph the whole thing!!

Oh yeah! This promises to be one fun wedding!

It was my privilege to capture Angela and Blair's wedding this past weekend. What a lovely, sweet, gentle couple. My heart melted when their eyes met because they just radiated love - which made capturing that love so delightful for me.
