Tuesday

Temps in the mid to high 80's here - retreating to the shade.

This first shot is the main bar - Martini's. It is beautiful by day and spectacular by night.
This is an HDR shot - three shots, different exposures because the staircase would be too dark if I exposed for the windows. And a few other issues - but here you see it in all its daylight splendour.

 I love night shots!!

And I love the man who patiently waits for me to set up the shot and make it, carrying tripod and camera gear for me when what he would really like to do is go enjoy supper at one of the 5* restaurants.

And I have about 37 more photos but I will just stick with these.

A favor to ask of my readers. I had someone (a fellow photographer) email me saying that my photos on blogger were soft (blurry) but sharp when he saw them in Facebook or clicked on them. If you see any of these photos as blurry could you click on them? Let me know if they are blurry either on the blog or after clicking on them. Monday

It takes a looong time to upload photos from Mexico.
Here are some snaps from Monday. It is HOT here. Just bathing suit and little black dress weather. It is going to be really hard to shovel snow in a week. :)

Monday  evening entertainment was fun. Kids playing with fire on the beach and acrobats ruining their backs. :)

My favourite of the day - 3 second exposure. 

The Sun is Up

It's hot and a tad muggy but there is a beautiful ocean breeze.
My toes are painted and we are ready to dive into a day of.... well doing pretty much nothing but reading and smiling at each other..... and eating... way too much.
I will share some photos from last night - travel day is always a bit tiring and the place is busy but we did get a fabulous table at our favourite restaurant last night  - Isabelles.

With the encouragement (bordering on nagging) of my husband, I printed and had professionally framed, 4 prints from our trip to Plymouth this fall. This is one of them.

The four of them are hanging in our long front hall and I must say.... they do look just fine.
The plan is to change them out every 6 months or so. So I guess that means we should be entertaining more often. Maybe we just hold a wine and cheese every 6 months when the new group go up. :)

Sweet Resolutions

Ah New Years... I bet raw vegy sales are up.
