and my photos
I'm not shouting, "I've been saved!"
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
"I get lost!
That's why I chose this way"
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I don't speak with human pride
needing God to be my guide
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not trying to be strong
I pray for strength to carry on.
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not bragging of success
and cannot ever pay the debt.
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I don't think I know it all.
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I'm not claiming to be perfect
but God believes I'm worth it
When I say, "I am a Christian,"
I still feel the sting of pain
I do not wish to judge

this is great one; where did you find this, and can you send it to me?

ah... you read my blog!!! haha I knew that - just love it when you comment.
ReplyDeleteI originally got this off of Kendall's blog but after googling the author I found the original version and author. I went to Maya Angelou's site and couldn't find anything on there that would indicate she was a Christian - so off to snopes! Hence the final link.
I really appreciated this. We are imprefect, yet He is perfect.
ReplyDeleteExcellent blog and excellent post. I like your photography as well. Is that moon shot taken during an eclipse?
ReplyDeleteYes David - the Lunar eclipse of Feb 20, 2008! Thanks for your kind comments. I enjoyed your blog too and will be back!
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT! I may have to lift this for a layout. It is perfect.
